Bruce Bauer is a professional bowfisher from Sullivan, Kentucky. Bruce and Team Pokaho have several national level wins and represent over a half dozen sponsors, including Q & M Watersports, who has been a long time exhibitor at the show. Terry Bolton of Paducah, Kentucky has been a professional fisherman since 1995. A graduate of Murray State University, Terry’s favorite place to fish is Kentucky Lake. He has finished in the top-ten in 40 tournaments and has two tour wins, which were both on Kentucky Lake. Terry is an excellent speaker and 2012 marks his third year in a row to present seminars at the show.
This year Terry will be teaming up with Dan Morehead for a seminar on
Winning Bass Fishing Strategies on Saturday and will be presenting a seminar on
Bass Fishing Techniques on Sunday with Ramie Colson.

Ramie Colson from Cadiz, Kentucky has fished in 149 events since 1995. He has 30 top-ten finishes and has won three tournaments. He will be teaming up with Terry Bolton to present a seminar on
Bass Fishing Techniques on Sunday. Ramie and Terry will be happy to answer any questions you might have about bass fishing in general or more specific techniques.

Jack Devor, former professional fisherman, has appeared on the television show, Kentucky Afield. He has been fishing for redear sunfish on Lake Barkley and Kentucky Lake for more than 10 years and is considered an expert.
Jack will be presenting a seminar on
Practical Redear Fishing Tips. He will be talking about what you need to look for and how to locate redear as well as what kind of lures and techniques work the best. Be sure and stop by Jack’s Tackle booth at the West Kentucky Boat & Outdoor Show. It will be located right next to the seminar area.

Wally Marshall, aka Mr. Crappie, from Garland, Texas started his professional fishing career in 1987. Marshall’s accomplishments are many and include being named the 2002 Angler of the Year, winning the 2003 National Crappie Championship and being inducted into the Legends of the Outdoors Hall of Fame in 2008. He has won 27 national tournaments and has been the national champion runner-up 4 times.
Marshall will be presenting a seminar on
Advanced Crappie Fishing and Jig Techniques. Additionally Marshall will be in the Fisherman’s Headquarters booth on Friday and Saturday. Don’t miss the opportunity to meet one of America’s foremost authorities on crappie fishing.

Dan Morehead of Paducah, Kentucky has been fishing since he was old enough to hold a fishing pole and knew at an early age he wanted to be a professional angler. Dan has been fishing professionally since 1995 and has competed in 201 tournaments. He has ten tournament wins and has 32 top-ten finishes. Dan’s most recent win was in October 2011 at the EverStart Series Championship on Kentucky Lake. When he’s not fishing, Dan enjoys hunting and playing with his kids.

John Parks, a long time area tournament bass fisherman, is the owner of Fisherman’s Headquarters located at the “Y” in Draffenville, Kentucky. He is also an expert on sonar and GPS units.
John will be presenting a seminar on
HD Sonar: The Good, The Bad, The Ugly. He will be covering the general use and interpretation of sonar, explaining the concepts of how the sonar and GPS units work and how to get the most out of them as well as how to help you easily return to your favorite fishing spots. There will be a question and answer session at the end of the seminar. Paul Rister is the Western District Fisheries Biologist for the Kentucky Department Fish and Wildlife Resources. He oversees the fisheries management for Lake Barkley and Kentucky Lake. Paul has been presenting seminars at the show for many years. This year, join him for
Crappie and Bass Updates for Kentucky and Barkley Lakes.
The seminar will address that crappie populations are cyclic and that the crappie population at Kentucky and Barkley lakes appear to be on the upswing of a cycle. Additionally, the largemouth bass populations continue to provide excellent fisheries at both lakes. Come find out what is new in Fish and Wildlife. And as always there will be time to ask your own questions pertaining to our local fisheries.
